Barcelona is the capital of Catalonia and Spain's second largest city. It is a vibrant, cosmopolitan city with plenty to see and do for visitors of all ages. From Gaudi's iconic buildings to La Rambla, there are many sights that make Barcelona an unforgettable destination.

 

Barcelona is a city of design, culture and internationalism. The port was the first to have been made public after the revolution in 1868, which led to its modernist renewal. It has been awarded World Heritage Site status by UNESCO, with the most notable landmark being Gaudi’s Sagrada Família church. In addition there are many sites from Barcelona’s illustrious history that can be found around this picturesque city on Spain’s northeast coast

Barcelona doesn't have many beaches but offers an excellent cuisine scene, especially if you're willing to venture off the beaten path for some traditional dishes or tapas bars full of character.

 

Barcelona’s city council have recently released an open letter condemning the actions of ultra-nationalist groups. It condemns their use of violence, destruction, and intimidation to promote their political beliefs. Barcelona will not tolerate it. 

 

Barcelona is a beautiful city that I’ve visited many times. It’s full of life, culture, and people - and we can't wait to visit it again.
